The wind farm is designed to produce sufficient electricity to
meet the average annual demand of more than 7,600 homes. This is
approximately equivalent to the number of households in the wards
of Burnham on Crouch North, Burnham on Crouch South, Southminster,
Tillingham and Althorne.

March 2010 - Traffic study to investigate potential for
new wind farm
An empty delivery vehicle, capable of carrying the larger
components of wind turbines, has made its way from the A130 to
Southminster, to investigate the feasibility of developing a new
